Waterproofing Membrane

Not until the more recent years were basement foundations waterproofed.  They were at most damp-proofed.  There is a difference between these two. Unlike damp-proofing, waterproofing your foundation helps against water entering foundation cracks, holes and other crevices in your foundation walls. It also prevents damages and deterioration caused by the sub-soil laying against your concrete foundation walls.

This house is one like most out there that was not given the opportunity during the building stages of a waterproofed foundation.  It’s not too late; however, the job can be a bit disturbing to your landscaping but the outcome is worth it.  The Delta-MS membrane was installed on all four walls. It stretched from grade level down to the footing.  Any foundation wall cracks, holes or other crevices are now protected by this membrane from soil deterioration and water penetration.
